Swam 76 laps today in under 1:13 without doing any sprinting. Extrapolating that to 85 laps (2.4 miles), my projected time is now ~1:22. If I can get this time down by just a couple more minutes in the pool, then I think I have a fair shot of making my 1:30 goal in the ocean on race day.

The new swimming technique is working quite nicely. It makes me wonder how much more I can optimize my stroke for speed? Anyone want to be my coach?

Awesome! You're doing great!

For more stroke tips maybe you can watch the Olympic long-distance swimmers? Here's a link to the video that I hope works.

Also, don't overdo it in the final week before the race. Give your self a cool-down period so you're fresh and rested for your big match vs. the mighty Pacific!

Looking for a coach? Does that mean your dad doesn't want to coach you or you don't want to give him credit, like he mentioned in his comment? (Hi Mr. Yin!!!)

hi Jennifer!!

Humphhh... I am insulted that my "star" pupil is dumping me for another coach.

I am going to have to speak to Bela about how he deals with his primadonna athletes.

Haha. Yes, that's right. Now that I'm a star and all, I'm looking for a better coach. :)
